The Waypoints to Well Done is an excellent program. I've been using Time Management techniques for many years but this is the first one that brings the Spiritual component into planning by asking "How do my goals, projects, and tasks bring glory to God?" Taking the time to understand this brings clarity and purpose to all that you are doing.

Two aspects: 1. The accountability (in book club, quarterly goals). Having a weekly reminder that requires response has kept me more engaged in these as well as keeping my work in general more focused. 2. Inclusion of the Christian/spiritual realm of life - this is missing in all my other productivity experiences and it is key for me to remember in relation to how I work and live.

It really took so much great information on the topic and condensed it into actionable steps. I’ve read many of the books he mentioned on productivity and have applied some of the principles, but with the mindset that it was to squeeze even more into my schedule…to do more for the wrong reasons. This really helped me to slow down and think through the practical application of productivity.

I decided to join RPA during my first year of self-employment, seeing the benefits of a supported growth in living well. I see this productivity as a faithfulness, and the work that Reagan and his team have done have been exceptionally valuable for me. In particular, the concept of domains has been quite life-changing. I prefer this interactive community and coursework over the done-and-dusted book approach, as it's more aligned to the reality of productivity as a continuous endeavour.

This community is a place to grow in getting your life organized for the glory of God. If you want a sense of direction and a way to get there this is the place to start. The waypoints course is the place to start and if you take it slow, being thorough with the exercises and implementing what you learn you will see progress, no doubt. The community aspect helps in seeing how others have implemented the info in their own way and is an encouragement to keep plodding. I highly recommend this ministry.

One question that I had long battled before joining RPA is how do I glorify God in all that I do, especially things of the world that at 1st glance would seem not so spiritual (eg: work, study, etc.). RPA has been of great help to me to understand the right motives behind stewarding the resources entrusted to me by God through the courses and testimonies of other community members. In addition to this, the accountability aspect has been helpful in improving my own battle to be productive in life.

My biggest struggle in life has been self control, I think that's why Paul put it at the end of the "Fruits of the Spirit", it's the hardest one to achieve. RPA has shown me what it means to practically live a life that is not your own. The easily digestible content and courses remove fears and excuses to make tangible steps toward a focused and productive life for Christ. I am so thankful for Reagan's response to the Lord's calling to help those who struggle with time management find the time to do what truly matters.

In trying to balance a full-time job with writing my first novel, I realized that I wasn't as organized and productive as I thought I was. The RPA courses have shown me where my shortcomings are and provided me with the knowledge and resources to fill those gaps. Besides the knowledge base, the things that make RPA truly great are the Biblical approach to productivity, and the community. The courses and the structure remind me to look to God through my planning and actions. The community helps me stick with that focus, and offers support and encouragement.

I've always struggle with how to think well about a morning routine, and while I've largely had one in some form or another, they always varied and consistency was the hardest part. Waypoints helps a lot there. There is instruction and grace paired together in a way that makes it informative but manageable. I've had a great year thus far under the course, and as a pastor it has helped me think much more diligently and carefully about where my time is going. I'm taking my church through it in our small groups this summer. Can't wait to see it work in some of their lives too.

I've found working my way through the Waypoints to Well Done curriculum in the Redeeming Productivity Academy to be insightful, enjoyable, and helpful in some really practical ways. The biggest takeaways for me were (A) Identifying my aspirations and turning them into goals, (B) Learning to orient my activity in terms of biblical time frames of seasons, weeks, and days—all oriented toward my goals and aspirations, and (C) Developing my morning routine as a way of getting my whole life in order and more consistent. Reagan did a great job of taking something as big and complex as "organizing your entire life" and making it a lot more digestible and, frankly, possible to do.
